Towns across NH bid adieu to tough restrictions on ADUs – The Union Leader

In a counteroffensive on New Hampshire’s housing crunch, residents in more than a dozen Monadnock- and Souhegan-area towns revised their accessory dwelling unit ordinances last month, with many relaxing restrictions on the number and size of units.

A survey of Town Meeting articles and town election ballot questions shows at least 13 communities were asked to amend ordinances regulating accessory dwelling units (ADUs). Of these, voters in nine towns approved the changes.
