A new California law is requring all local governments to implement a process for pre-approving ADU plans by Jan. 1, 2025. As part of this new law, California local governments are looking for resources to comply with this law and provide a way to connect homeowners interested in ADUs with designers and builders online.

You are invited to join today’s information session from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. PT on a new turnkey solution for pre-approved plans for accessory dwelling units (ADUs)—also known as granny flats or backyard cottages. The ADU Plans Gallery tool by Community Planning Collaborative and its ADUAcclerator.org program starts its rollout across nine counties in California, including Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Nevada, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
