ADU discussion in Edina sparks concern for neighbors – ECM Publishers

An April 2 Edina City Council meeting got a bit tense during a public hearing on a proposed accessory dwelling unit ordinance.

Approved by the Planning Commission, the ordinance would allow lots with single family homes to construct either an internal, attached or detached ADU up to 1,000 square feet. The City Council is expected to make a final vote at an April 16 meeting.
